CV/Link

The CV/Link is a proposed 50 mile multi use trail for pedestrians, bicycles, and low-speed electric vehicles. It’s planned route will “link” Palms Springs down-valley with Coachella and beyond. The City of Cathedral City lead the way by constructing the first leg of this regional travelway along the west side of the Whitewater River from Vista Chino south to Ramon Road. Plans are underway to extend this 2 mile span south in the next few years. Segments are also soon to be constructed in Palm Springs to link its city wide bike paths.

Access to the CV/Link is open 24/7. By bicycle, access from either end. The Link has no specified parking of its own. Parking alternatives are the Wal*Mart parking lot on Ramon, south of the entrance.  On the north end, near parking will be the north side at the corner of Vista Chino and Gene Autry Tr. This is a private parking lot, so park with care. Parking not-so-near is from the north entrance of the trail and east to Vista Chino and Landau Blvd. North of this intersection is Plaza Rio Vista. Ralphs grocery and Subway is in this center along with La Michoacana Ice Cream and Candy. Great places to find rewords after a fun bike ride. Approximately 1.5 miles west on Vista Chino in class 3 bike lanes to the start/finish of the link.
